Johanna Strunge is a historian and worked on the exhibition "Research Workshop: Colonial History in Tempelhof and Schöneberg" in 2017. Since then, she has not let go of research into colonial history. She is writing a doctorate on colonial goods stores and is active in postcolonial work at Göttingen.
