Flavia Cahn

Flavia Cahn is an art and cultural educator and museum scholar with a focus on culture, visual language, resistance and colonialism. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Archaeology in Durham, UK and has been living and working in Berlin since 2017. She is co-founder of the "Art Dialogues" at HKW and organizes guided tours, workshops and participatory actions for study projects of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. Since 2022 she has been involved in the project "First Viewing of the Collection of the Stadtmuseum Berlin on Colonial Traces". She completed her Master's degree in Applied Cultural Studies and Cultural Semiotics at the University of Potsdam with the Master's thesis RESIST! The Art of Decolonizing European Ethnological Museums: The Case of the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum, Cologne in 2022.
